Artemis Lyall wasn't like the majority born, he wasn't fated to have a long life where his dreams could run rampant. He wouldn't even live long enough to know what dreams were, it was heartbreaking for his parents to expect. So they didn't, they let go of their pride one night and begged for their first born. Not stopping until the moon goddess bestowed the gift of a long life on Artemis, all rejoiced. The Amaris Pack would have their rightful Alpha, but they would have to say their farewells until the time came for his rule of the pack to start.

Aretmis wasn't just bestowed the gift all of the other children had, instead the moon goddess threw in a few of her own blessings that could be mistaken for a curse.

It had his parents sending him away, somewhere far from anyone he could harm and where he could learn to harness the deadly powers racing through his veins. This isolation was to last until his twenty first birthday, the time when he was expected to find a mate that he no longer wanted.

The Alpha and Luna thought that they sent their little miracle to a safe institution, but that wasn't the truth. Things never went as planned.

They've found the other half of their soul, a shoulder to help carry every burden, an ear to listen to every problem. A Best friend, a lover, a soulmate. But what happens when someone rejects that blessing, the story within seeks to answer that question. Being born an Omega means many things, it means having a weak female wolf, it means being a lot weaker. These were odds Lucas understood, odds he could deal with. Then came that fateful night, the night he met his mate, it was not as he expected. There were fireworks, there was heat and passion. That first night was hot, Lucas was surprised to find his mate was someone he knew well, his future Alpha. Stone Brickston. They were teenagers caught up in the chaos of their wolves finding each other, caught up in the heightened sense of lust and attraction, caught up in the power of the strawberry moon, they mate. Stone is the everyman, he's supposed to have a strong mate, a strong Alpha female, not a weak Omega, not a guy. So when he comes to the next morning, he's disgusted by his mate, disgusted by the desire he still feels, the want, the growing affection, growing love. Desperate to rid himself of the embarrassment having a weak Omega mate will bring, he rejects Lucas and marks another. Shattered Lucas flees Brickston Mississippi, running north. He spends time homeless, scarred and broken. Lucas flees with something from his night of passion though, something that will ultimately bring him back to the place he despises. Back to face the mate that broke his heart. Do tragedies have happy endings?

Growing up in chaos isn't simple for all. Not many could cope. They would struggle and kick, but ultimately drown. However, for Dakota, that was his normality. Torturing. Maiming. Killing. That was his life, the life of a hunter. The Arizona line was elusive, written fame in the lore of hunters, and infamy for their prey. They were the best. No one could ever compare to their skills, their abilities, their ruthlessness. But Dakota was something else. His siblings might have learnt to enjoy the hunt, well most of them anyway, but Dakota didn't. There was always something missing for him, something he was waiting on. Silent and everlasting hope. A promise had been made to him, the day his twin brother was stolen, taken by the enemy, plucked right from the very home the Arizonas had grown up in. A promise of something better, something that he might actually want in his life. Now, almost sixteen years later, something was coming. A change was begging to be found. Maybe it would be for the best. Maybe Dakota would finally find that certain something that had been missing his whole life, something to fill the dark and fractured abyss that ached and wailed within. But nothing was ever that simple. Because, of course, the promise that had been made to Dakota would never be anything plausible for him, anything tangible to have and to hold. He had been promised a new life, by the greatest enemy of them all. It wouldn't be easy. Not with his family still clinging to his heels, the teachings of blood and violence burnt into his mind. No, leaving them behind wouldn't ever be easy. Then again, staying with them would only bring his inevitable death. Why not take the chance to die happy? After all, out of the ashes, a phoenix will rise...

The Alpha's Soul

21 parts Complete Mature

Life as an Alpha has always been viewed as the easier path; Alphas are the top of the food chain, lead the packs, and are the deciding force in the world. However, that's not the case for all Alphas. Luke is viewed in his new pack as a strong warrior, but that wasn't always the case. In his previous pack he had to work his way up in order to keep from being tortured by the Alpha and being viewed as weak. Now that he's in a new pack with his mate by his side, Luke is confident that he can push away his past and move up in his life. Tan has always been an Alpha who others viewed as a wrongly placed Omega. He never acted cocky or dominant, unless his wolf was angry and controlling him. With his mate, an Alpha much more dominant than himself, Tan is sure that he can finally stop hating himself for being a weak Alpha and feed off his mate's strength. However, sometimes the demons of the past don't allow their victims to break free. book cover done by @ishanwadhwa123 !!!!
