Lady's Power has become the first American filly to have won the Kentucky Derby in a decade. But, tragedy strikes right after her victory. Her right front fetlock is completely fractured, almost broken completely in half. After being rushed to the emergency room, her future looks dim until a stranger enters the stall next to her. Named Pharaoh, he eventually befriends Lady's Power and plans to drag her out of depression and into the racetrack where she belongs. Will Lady's Power survive her injury? Or will her Derby victory be her last?
