Layla Potter and the Secret Guardian

Everything was out of the ordinary for Layla Potter.

For example, when she was just barely one month old, a hooded figure came to her house and dropped her off, still cuddled up in her pink blanket, on the doorstep of her aunt and uncle's house.

It just so happens that on that very night, a strange man lacking a nose went into their house, killed her parents, failed to kill her brother, and left without a trace.

It was almost as if that hooded figure knew that if she had stayed at home that night, she would have been in grave peril.

They're almost like a Secret Guardian.
