She just wanted to get through school. Keep herself isolated, respond "I'm okay" to all the questions that bothered her when everyone else bugged her. She just wanted to show off her pride, to get through each day as they dragged by and suffocated her.
She just wanted to be at school. To love everyone, to open up and show the world that she cared. She wanted to be the one to ask everyone how they were and give them the support they needed. She just wanted to show off her loyalty, to get through each day by flight, even if in the end the world stabbed her in the back.
When two opposing girls, one from Slytherin and the other from Hufflepuff are forced to work together, there's no telling truly how the two would react. Only time would tell just how suitable the two would actually be.

Clara Easton had a more than decent life before the start of the Second Wizarding War. Upon her first year she was sorted into Hufflepuff, made friends and enjoyed her schooling for the first few years. She was kind soul and described as beautiful by her peers . Draco's seventh year didn't go exactly how he envisioned it would, with the responsibilities of a Death Eater looming over his head, Draco felt like he never got to experience his seventh year properly. He returns to Hogwarts, fully aware that his previous actions have left him with a tarnished reputation that he is certain he cannot recover from. At least not without a little help and the last place he thought he would find help would be from a Hufflepuff. But having a Slytherin in the group, creates several blood related arguments, that threaten to tare the girls apart. Having Slytherin's monster lurking around doesn't stop the flow of homework or lessons. So the girls still need to attend all of their lessons, including their favourite activity, the frog choir, which is the one thing that binds them all together, in times of stress.
