All I had to do was listen. Why? Why didn't I listen? I was too hurt by his words, truthful, yet that didn't change the fact that every word, every syllable was another shot directly to my heart. It could have changed everything if only I had listened. A life lesson people should learn is this: Always listen even if it's something you don't want to hear. I was so stuck on this one guy, I didn't realize what was directly in front of me until the person I was closest to was gone.
