Life is black and white until you fall in love with your soulmate: then everything becomes technicolour. Yuta saw in colour once, but his world has been cold and grey for many years. Around a month ago, Yuta's girlfriend Jihye started to see colour, yet Yuta just can't bring himself to admit the truth to her.
---------
Yuta remembers seeing colour for the first time. He remembers the luscious green of the trees and the breathtaking vibrancy of the sun. How the golden sand shimmered and the ocean glistened. The world through Yuta's eyes gained a whole new level of beauty that day, as did she. He remembers the shine of her chocolate coloured hair, and the sparkle in her warm brown eyes too.
Yuta also remembers the day he stopped seeing colour. He remembers when everything turned grey; monotone and heartless. He remembers his world being stripped of all its beauty, and all his happiness disappearing with it. Yuta remembers the last seconds, the hot crimson blood pouring down her ivory skin. He remembers her turning to stone; cold and stiff as the colour faded from her face. The world's colour followed quickly behind.
Now Yuta only wishes he could forget.

"This is a bit weird. Usually we would watch it from the rooftop.", Jisoo said, inhaling the cool breeze. "Right. I just thought we should have a change in scenery today.", Jinyoung said, he then glanced at her, feeling content. "And I guess you were right. It's going to look so beautiful once the sun rises in a few minutes.", Jisoo said softly, bringing her legs closer to her chest, and Jinyoung then scooted closer to her. His heart then skipped a thousand beats when their eyes met, only inches away from each other's lips. Jisoo smiled and he saw the way her eyes sparkled. Everyone received their soulmate mark on their 18th birthday. It was just your soulmate's name written in their handwriting above your heart, but it allowed you to see who is your other half. Usually, this resulted in an easy relationship with the promise to spend the rest of your life together, but Yuta had his and is too scared to tell Mark, his soulmate. A Yumark fanfiction Yuta is just so in love with Mark at this point that I have to write about it. Please read and hopefully, enjoy. Side note, I'm delicate so please don't be unnecessarily mean, I do appreciate constructive criticism though. Let's just remember that this is all fiction, okay? :)) 🏆 #1 in yumark Started - 30th September 2020 Finished - 3rd February 2021Kumpleto
