Silver's Claim

Amity Silver, Princess of the Smithians, and Last Seer of the Silvers has always grown up never expecting to be queen. In order for that too happen, her parents, and her two older siblings would have to die but that would never happen. Until it does. Given the terrible news Amity is give no time to mourn her family before she plunged headfirst in politics, an ongoing war with the people who murdered her family, and the backstabbing that is happening in her own court as people rush to try and claim her throne. Some say that she is unfit to rule simply because she is only a 16 year old girl, not to mention the fact that she is unmarried and has made it very clear she has no intention to do so anytime so. Her biggest rival is her half-brother, the bastard Hagen. He is not only male, 22, and engaged to a wealthy duchess, he also has the backing of some of Amity's lord's. Amity always felt that if the time ever came for her to rule she would gladly give it over, but now that the time has come she seems to thrive as Queen and has no plans to give it up, at least not without a fight.
