Following in her mothers footsteps, mastering the many flavours and spices to please one's palate. Ruby Rose is a talented chef at one of the classiest restaurants, The Hummingbird. It's known to be one of the best places of interest to most Business folk, including Weiss Schnee. The girl with a powerful posture and ice cold eyes that captured the look of several clients. But after one unexpected delight, the two girls meet, turning over a new life in life.

Ruby is brought to the choice of becoming a private chef for Weiss, after nervous thought and denial Ruby eventually accepts. Over the much time spent together a friendship builds, but could it just be friendship? Together Ruby and Weiss bond, and the visits become more often.
