Kennedy Jones is at the top of her game. She's a senior, she's rich, gorgeous, popular, captain of the dance team and has the most popular boy in the school on her arm. Things couldn't get any better.

In fact, things don't. Quite the opposite actually.

When Kennedy finds out her boyfriend has been cheating on her, with her best friend, things seem to go downhill from then on. Feeling cast out and betrayed, she finds comfort in the most unlikely of sources. Well unlikely in her case.

*Enter Trevor Prescott*

Trevor Prescott is what you would call, a 'social reject', 'loser' or a 'nerd'. He also happens to be Kennedys' ex-best friend. Emphasis on the ex. Left behind in the dust on Kennedys' rise to popularity, Trevor resents - and misses, her. So what happens when he finds Kennedy broken down, sobbing on his doorstep.
