With an physical and emotionally-detached mother and a five year old brother to take care of, she was homeschool up to her senior year. Under the new state law, she has to start her senior year in a real high school. Being homeschooled all her life, this was an unexpected shift for her. Going to school was just the beginning. She didn't expect her life to change. She didn't expect to meet people who could change her life. She didn't expect to fall in love. She didn't expect someone to see the real her.
