Excerpt-
His eyes pierced mine. The vibrant green mixed with my intoxicated state made me feel as if I were drowning. His hot breath fanned across my face, it smelt like candied liquor. Eyeing me curiously, his body pressed into mine. I was frozen, yet so warm from his body heat. My lips trembled in anticipation as his face lowered to mine, his mouth merely a centimeter from mine. I could nearly taste the liquor on his breath.
"I haven't seen you here before."
My breath caught in my throat, his voice was deep and raspy with an accent. Who was he? When no response came from me he took his hand and trailed his fingers upwards along my forearm. His tongue swept along his bottom lip In what I could only assume was a curious gesture. Goosebumps rose in the wake of his fingers. I didn't dare break his stare, his eyes holding me prisoner for the moment. I could feel my heart hammering away in my chest. A small, breathy laugh left him. His lips pressed against mine softly, gauging my reaction- testing me.
"What's your name, babe?"
