Armelle Pendleston has not had an easy life. But she  knows what she wants out of life. She has everything mapped out, graduate at 18, go to an Ivy League school,  become a badass lawyer and then bust some criminal ass. But secrets unravel, and Armelle finds her dream breaking into pieces, one by one.
  
  Nixon Carmichael, too has a plan. Play football, hang out with friends, hookup with girls. On the top of the social ladder at high school, he pays no attention to the lower rungs. He pretty much lives the high school dream life. He is what you would call a 'golden boy'. But no one is devoid of flaws, not even him.
  
  And when she is at her rock bottom, he is the one who helps her and a tiny seed of love begins sprouting.
