Ryelee Delphine Mason is probably the most normal seventeen year old girl that you'll ever meet. One day, out of the blue, she gets sent a letter. But even that doesn't give her much information about the experiment "Dr. A" wants her to participate in. But she decides to go anyway, despite the fact she'll have to leave her older sister Jenna. That and the fact she has to live in a facility with sixteen people she's never met before; thirteen of those people are teenagers that are the same age as her. She participates in this experiment of Dr. A's and realizes why they're so isolated. She makes friends and enemies along her very life-changing journey. But these enemies she has are nothing like an average teenager's enemies, but she's ready for them along with her new friends.

Once upon a time, there was a pretty young girl that had no clue that werewolves and vampires and what not existed. And then a werewolf bit her. That's where the similarities between Annabeth Moonlight and what she believes to be the "fairy tale world" end.
