Eric was 15 years old when he saw his father murder his mother and then his father shot himself in the head. Since that moment Eric has never spoken a word to anyone. He was sent to live with his only family member his cousin, David, who works for the FBI. David's partner, Mary, is a forensic scientist who helps him identify the bodies and catch the murderers. Eric has a gift that lets him see exactly what happened to the person just by touching them and he see's the murderers. David tries to get Eric to tell him, but the only way Eric communicates with other's is by signing to David and his drawings of people's face's.
