Hope has been able to do whatever she pleased, but that didn't mean she didn't get in trouble.  After constantly being put down by her parents for not being good enough, Hope decided that she would kill herself at the age of seventeen. "Alone" tells the story of the year that led up to Hope's suicide.  Hope decided that she would fix her problems through random sex.  But in the year before she killed herself, Hope fell in love with Dustin, the first guy that dared to break her rules.  Will Dustin's love be enough to overpower the love she lacked from her parents or will he just play a part in her eventual downfall?

Feeling as if no one cares, she begins to plan her suicide. She does fine in school in hopes that it will keep the attention away from her actions.
