If given the option of life and death, what would you choose? If your life is perfect and you have awesome grades, parents that love you and friends that care about you. You would probably choose life. I would to, but it is not that way for a certain 16 year old girl Taylor Burtonshaw.
         She has been abused by he father since she was 4 years old. And by the looks of it he has no intension of stopping. And on account of that Taylor keeps to herself. She doesn't have any friends, Obviously doesn't have a loving father and her mother passed away when she was 3 years old from cancer.
                Without anyone to guide her threw her life she did what most any fatherless girl would do. She turned to boys, or what the boys could give her. Sex. A good time. What she wanted. 
Taylor didn't want a relationship with these boys.
       But what happens when Cole Martin transfers to Taylors school? Will she be able to play him, like she has done with all the other boys in her life? Will she be able to keep her secret from Cole? And is Cole really the person she thinks he is?

10 years. 10 years of hating Griffin Taylor. Luckily for me, he lives hundreds of miles away and I very rarely have to handle the knowledge he's in town for his 48 hour visits. Some supposed best friend he turned out to be. Mum and dad would have screamed at him for hours for missing the things he did. Though, Griffin Taylor never did care about other people's feelings. This will be a series of 4, but the other books will be spin-offs and can be read as stand-alone books. They will, however, be published in chronological order. Full warning, this book is much shorter than I intend on making the spin-offs. I was planning on writing book two as the first in the series but found myself needing more of a prequel to all three other books, and so I chose to write something from their high school years. Bonus points for giving Daniel a love interest that was more than just a name.
