Frank has lived a nice long life he doesn't know when he'll die but he's content with everything, his two best friends finally got married, his son Jack doesn't resent him anymore, his grandaughter doesnt deal with as much bullshit anymore and his great grandaughter is living her best life. It gets better when his best friend that everyone assumed to be dead returned, but so do the feelings he tried so hard to abandon.

As frank grows weak, it's only gerard that keeps frank from giving up on his life, but does he make it?

To Frank, it felt like every thing he did needed to be perfect. He needed to be perfect. Everything had an order, and a way to do it, and it needed to stay in that order and be done that way. Everything in his life needed to be the best it possibly could be, he would not, he could not settle for less... He really didn't know about a lot of things, but one thing he will know, is that life is a wild ride from start to finish. It doesn't really matter if you find the answers you were looking for or not.

I felt like I was in a bad dream and couldn't wake up, everything was spinning. My chest hurt from how hard my heart was thumping. This necklace, how in the world did it get here? I didn't take it back here with me, I left it on Frank's grave in Jersey. I discreetly pinched myself to see if I was dreaming, but I didn't wake up. This was real life. "Oh! That's mine, the string must've broken loose." I heard a voice. I saw feet at first. Yellow converse shoes. Then I saw pants. Black jeans. Then I saw a jacket. A green camo military jacket, not real obviously. Then I saw tattooed hands holding a coffee cup. They were red, most likely freshly washed. Then I met eyes with the person before me. I dropped the necklace and gasped loudly, holding back a shocked scream. The person's face fell, eyes going wide. They took a step back and then a cautious one forward. "Gerard?" They whispered. "Frank..." A MCR story. Gerard is exteremly sick and Frank is mostly looking after him. They both don't realize how bad his sickness really is. I'm not very good at descriptions lol Frerard. This is a pre-wrote sickfic. Also I imagined it set during The Black Parade, so around 2006-2008ish (if I'm correct) but you can imagine it during any era!
