Hikari Saberu, or Hika as his friends call him, is an ordinary human.
Unfortunately for him, he lives in a world where all humans are anything BUT ordinary.

Since the beginning of recorded history, mankind has been able to generate and command a natural energy internally. This energy is known as Kii, and command over it grants people many extraordinary abilites such as controlling fire at will, summoning spirits, and telekinesis, to name a few.

Born with no abilities, ordinary life was hard for Hika. He was feared, neglected and looked down upon by his peers throughout his entire childhood. However, on his 15th birthday, an unforeseen crisis turned his life upside down.
