Matthew was raised in a fundamentalist christian town called Redding, California. He grew up with condescending, bigoted , homophobic christian parents. So, you can imagine his joy of finding out he was gay. So what does he do? He runs away to his brother in San Francisco. There he meets up with Issac, a man who believes he deserves love even though the church doesn't agree. But what will happen if his parents don't agree? Can he live in peace away from the church? Romance will come in later. Bit of a slow burn.

Collin lives the good life. He is rich, has everything he needs and his parents will do anything for him, but when you live on the Rich Side, having money means power. For Collin's parents, that power is everything. They will do anything to keep up a good reputation and a good image- no matter the cost. Collin faces difficult decisions when he realizes he is into men, and not the best kind either. He has to find out who he is and what person he wants to become, with or without his parent's approval. Collin wishes he could have both; his parent's approval, and the person he wants to become, but he may not be able to have both.
