In a world ravaged by a virus that was supposed to be humanity's savior, eighteen-year-old Jenna finds herself fighting for survival against horrors beyond imagination. The outbreak started as an unstoppable disease, claiming millions of lives. Then came the antidote-hailed as a miracle-only to mutate the infected into monstrous abominations, leaving destruction in its wake. Jenna watched helplessly as her family fell victim, one by one, transforming into the very creatures she now fights to evade. Alone and hardened by the survivalist training her father instilled in her, she joins a fractured band of survivors trying to outwit the evolving threats. But the monsters aren't the only danger-the remnants of humanity have turned feral, and trust is a rare and fragile commodity. As the mutated creatures grow smarter and deadlier, Jenna's group places their last hope in crafting a new cure. Armed with the skills of a soldier and the determination of someone with nothing left to lose, Jenna embarks on a perilous mission to recover the materials needed to create it. Facing deadly traps, cunning predators, and the savage remnants of humanity, Jenna's journey pushes her to the edge of endurance. But when the new cure unleashes an even greater horror-a hybrid predator fusing human intelligence with monstrous ferocity-Jenna and the survivors face a harrowing choice: to destroy the mutants and risk their own extinction or continue the fight with dwindling odds. In a heart-stopping, emotionally charged conclusion, Jenna and her allies take a final stand, sacrificing everything to deliver a devastating blow to the monsters that threaten to consume the world. The cost is unthinkable, but their courage leaves a bittersweet legacy-a world free of monsters, but without humanity to see it.
