Sun flares have destroyed the Earth, leaving nothing but chaos and destruction. Gerard is alone, his family is dead, and the way things are going he may well end up the same way. By this point, Gerard has lost all hope of survival... until he meets someone who might just be able to change things around.

They get closer each day and reveal to each other their innermost secrets. Gerard is a sociopath though.
