This book foretells the story of a young girls life dealing with a father who was a long time alcoholic. Also tells parts of sexual and physical abuse that she hasn't spoken of. She had to grow up on her own at such a young age because her mother worked all the time to support the family. Now that she is older, and moving on very successfully no one, not even her own father can see that. Throughout the years he's become sober and married again and they got along for quite some time until things went south for him and his now 2nd exwife and how he blames his daughter.
