Wether it was actual notes, reminders, or just doodles, he was writing on his arms. But, he also had other problems. Problems with depression and suicide that he couldn't shake off him. Jefferson being one of the main causes. But he's also (anonymously) one of the reasons Hamilton is alive.

Thomas Jefferson knew how to navigate that. Dealing with an arrogant roommate with some self-important mindsets? Both of them could at least tolerate that.
