"Crunch, crunch " the grass crumpled under the weight of my cleats slamming against it. The blood pumping threw my veins, the sweat dripping from my brow as I reach the pole for the 23rd time.
Welcome to practice here at Jameson hall secondary school. My name is Andy Hollern I'm a senior in high school. Andy is actually short for Andreaia and yes I am a female. Most little girls growing up take dancing or gymnastics that wasn't the case for me. My brother Evan who's 2 years older then me is currently away playing collage ball and I plan to follow in his steps. Football isn't a sport it's a lifestyle it's something you work for from the time you're in diapers and that's exactly what I've done now it's my time to show them what I've got.

Andy isn't you're typical girl she's a ball player one in a million! She's fighting for her spot on a college team but as life goes it continues to throw obstacles in her way. Will she over come them or be crushed in her dreams?
