Divided Attention
Mizu is desperate. Even though he farms rare plants in the sea, his family is poor because they always use the money on things like repairs, supplies and food. They need money, and a lot of it, to keep afloat. If he doesn't get that, then they'll have nowhere to stay. Kitty is scared. After being taken captive by the orcs, she doesn't exactly know what to do. Maybe they'll take her back to the kingdom that she ran away from. There's quite the bounty on her head, and evading the guards is her best chance to get away. When a random teenager gets thrown in with her, he convinces her to help him.
