This story is about a nine-year-old girl, Cassandra Soleil Melbourne, who is always abused and sometimes neglected by her mental mother because her father left her mother ached and pained filled with sadness and guilt, so her mother starts taking it out on her terribly, what happens if the little girl's father comes back into her life unannounced and unwelcome?
