At fourteen, Abigail DiLaurentis lost her sister and best friend Alison. She was a crime suspect, depressed, and alone. Strange things have been happening since Allison's disappearance, all tracing back to one person: A.

Now, at fifteen and in her sophomore year of high school, she's living with the Hastings when her sister's body is found, and her sister's friends unite as one once more. She soon finds out that they too are receiving mysterious, taunting messages from A, and teams up with the juniors to solve the mystery of who this person is.

Love is blossoming with all the Liars, but none can seem to keep it alive. Teenage hormones start surfacing, and the temptations of a certain rebellious Montgomery son are hard to turn away for the youngest DiLaurentis girl. Especially given their history.
