Thousand of years ago, millions of meteor hits the Earth that almost destroys it, but those who survive was given a gift. The gift like a gem that was sprouted on a person's body was called 'Crest', a symbol that they received the gift that let them control one of the elements believed that composed the Universe.
But a war occurred when some Crest lost their shine so it means some people lost their gift and those people are called Grim. It is believed that if a Crest becomes dark, it will consume the body and mind of the host till they lose control and become ferocious beast. But some Grims discovered that there is a way to keep their sanity, at the same time, become more powerful. And they will do anything even if how dark, bloody and violent it might be.

Many years after the war, a girl named Jorginnah "Jorge" Orwell was born. She is a daughter of a Grim and raised in a small village of Grims that was able to keep their sanity but was cast out of the society. After attaining the freedom from being a slave, she decided to become a bounty hunter to gather information about the group who burned down their entire village.
Then one day, one of the information leads to her most despised place where wealthy people and monarch resides, the Metropolis. And requires her to enroll as one of the students in the most prestigious school in their kingdom, the Lightstone Academy.
