One girl. One decision. The world as she knows it will change forever... but did she make the right choice? Cover by @emjagrace #960 in Science Fiction 3/11/17 #938 in Science Fiction 3/12/17 Extract: "Miss Hall, I was brought here under the authority of Thorne. We knew that the Leaders were planning this and have been doing so for a while. There are a group of us, including Thorne, from different Bases that have been trying to come up with a way to stop them and I've been sent to follow through with our only logical method." Granger stares me in the face. "You need me. I'm the only one that has all of the information on the country's military movements and plans. Knowing the Leaders, you expect they are too cocky to think some little girl would turn on them." I don't say it like a question because I'm stating what I've figured out. "We're going to smuggle you out of the country and across the northern border. Wilson thinks we're just here to hide you away because, if you're captured in an invasion, everything would be compromised. All we need to know is if you're in or out?" Marcus' question is punctuated with the click of Granger's gun. There are only two possible outcomes to this situation: commit treason or die.

Imagine living in a city that does not allow you to leave at all, exploits you as a person, student, and worker from the day you are born, determines and assigns the "perfect" job for you before you are born, does not allow you any personal freedoms (unless it is alone in your bedroom or bathroom with caution). It will torture or execute, depending on the status or identity of the person, if any law is broken no matter how small or big the law is. That's the city of Dimwar. Tall, thick concrete walls around its borders prevent anyone and everyone from leaving the city- anyone who tries will be searched, chased down, and executed. One teen girl, Taylor Kensley, begins a revolution to change this and fight for the trapped, oppressed people of the city. Will she succeed-- and how long will it take? WHAT will it take? And what will she have to lose to get there? **WARNING: Contains mature scenes with mentions of physical abuse, emotional abuse, domestic violence, self-harm, suicide, murder, and bigotry.
