The end of one life begins the next. In the past of what made this country great, eventually brought its downfall. The mass amounts of people left, giving rise to a new wave of life. They came together to form a tribe, the Spirits of the Sky; with each passing generation, some of the members left to form their own. A few died off, many prospered as nature found its way back into the world that the past had destroyed.

There was one tribe in particular that kept its relation with their mother tribe, they came to be known as the Spirit Walkers; for unlike the original, they chose to walk this world in search for something new. This name would not be taken until the birth of one child; this child would be capable of so much more than anyone would've suspected. She would be called Sanuye, and though still young, she will grow to possess abilities that have long been forgotten.

Once every season, the Spirit Walkers will return to their origins, to the mountains where waves of life prospered, but just like the rest they too will stop showing. Until an evil appears, threatening the survival of every living creature that walks the terrain.

The Silent One: Rapture and Redemption (Book 4/Unedited) by MrzHyde_
13 parts Ongoing Mature
Seven years flew by as Kira watched everyone else from afar while training her angels for battle. Ceciellia and her coven continued to run a private magic school with the help of Alice and the others, expanding the diversity of their army and training recruits. Everyone played a role and had their pieces to contribute to the cause, teaching different types of classes to various creatures so that they could learn to use the gifts they were either born with or given later on. When Alice and Tate weren't teaching at the school, they were off doing what they did best: hunting demons that managed to slip through the cracks. Anna, Luna, Rain, and Claire continued their research to create more cures for different creatures while teaching and caring for the unique students of the school. Alex, Damon, and Caleb also taught classes and maintained security and safety for those who lived at the house containing a portal door leading to the magic school and the students living in its dorms. The special children, either born from Lucifer and Kira's bloodlines or those with ancestors who passed down pieces of Lucifer's shattered soul, had grown up, and after turning 18, they'd stopped aging physically. Just like their parents, they also continued to face obstacles of their own over the years, as with every passing year, their powers grew stronger as they trained how to use them. Though they were not the only ones. Lucifer was getting closer; they were getting closer. Kira could feel it, and so could Alice and Tara. It's almost like that strange feeling where a person feels as if someone is standing behind them, but when they turn around, no one is there. The intensity of those feelings crept closer and stronger with each passing year. It was only a matter of time before Hell's gates would open, and once more, Lucifer would come for Kira, as well as everyone and everything she loved, including Tara, Alice, and anyone standing in his way.

Perhaps if she were better at seeing her own future maybe her personal life wouldn't be in shambles?

The banging starts again but this time a lot louder. I can hear the girls screaming up stairs. I pick up my phone and dial 911. "Hello this is 911 what's your emergency?" "There are a bunch of wolves outside my house. I think they have rabies or something I'm not sure." The banging gets louder and I can feel my face getting wet from the tears. "Mamm did you say wolves are there?" "Yes Yes there are wolves about 10 of them out here in my front yard. I need help!" I hang up the phone and sit on the end of the stair case. I close my eyes and start praying. Something I haven't done in a while. "I have faith, there is a god. I have faith, there is a god, I have faith, there is a god." I repeat over and over. The glass breaks and I start screaming. I stand up and try to scramble up the stairs. The door comes falling down and there are about 10 wolves standing in front of my door. A woman emerges and walks toward me. She snaps her fingers and the pretty brown wolf is in front of me. Right there by my face. "Ridanna you know what to do." Her teeth is wrapped around my neck and she sinks them in. I try to scream but it's hard to. At first it hurts but now the pain no longer exists. This is it. He's going to die, and I'll be free. At the last second, he moved, and I was suddenly pinned up against the wall, the silver dagger now in his hand. He pressed the blade to my throat, a sadistic grin creeping across his face. "Oh, Reese," he purred. "Are you in trouble now..." He leaned closer, his lips brushing my jaw. I inhaled softly. "Please," I said, my voice shaky... *** In a world where the human population has been overrun by all manner of supernatural entities, defiance is met with death. Humans are forced to be living blood bags for vampires, test subjects for witches and warlocks, and the slaves and servants of werewolves. Reese Hearne remembers the time before. (Currently being rewritten under a new name The Claimed) Everything changed when they came out of hiding, terror spread across the world as people began to question if our presidents and our global leaders lied to us and weren't from the same race. The Beasts blended in amongst us as if we were the same, except humans didn't have the same predatory instincts and we couldn't change our forms like they could. Soon after we learnt that we weren't the only species people began going missing. Some were unlucky and taken as something that the Beasts called a Mate that one word made fear spread throughout my veins, I would rather sell my soul than have one of them mutts chain me to them. Six months went by before the government, that was un-tainted by this vile race began to take action into their own hands contacting other countries and militaries causing the great war to happen, sending both my parents off to fight for our rights. Only one of them came back, two months was the longest we lasted before we were overpowered by them. Six years of living in this dysfunctional environment and my hatred had never dwindled. Some people still believed in god and had faith in him, I didn't know what I believed in but I prayed like everyone else that I would get through another day without hearing the soul crushing word 'Mate'. The world has ended. It wasn't the big explosive thing everyone had expected. No single moment of collapse, no one person to blame. Only a long, insidious torment. A trial with no end. And through a simple game of chance and choices, he is set upon a path he never intended to walk. A path that will only lead to more deaths, more questions... and things crueller still.
