Status:finished Ah, Lapis Lazuli. A beautiful gem with a kind, fun heart. You never thought you'd understand the human emotion 'happiness' until you met Lapis. You never thought you'd understand any 'emotion', to be honest. Up until now, you just couldn't understand. You didn't understand fusions and emotions. You had spent a eternity serving Yellow Diamond as a entertainer. Despite not understanding emotions, you loved her. She was your Diamond and no matter how much abuse she hurled at you, you had loved her more than anything.. Then she handed you down to her sister, Pink Diamond. Even though it had hurt you that she abandoned you, you had still thought things would be fine.. Until one day, people realized you were broken. They found out that you didn't understand fusing or emotions and said "well, as a entertainer you need to understand the acts you're performing! And a entertainer should be happy! It's part of their job! It's all a Tanzanite is!" And were going to shatter you.. Or so they thought. This story takes place sometime when season 5 is nearing it's end (I do not own the art used in the book. All rights go to the creators of the artwork.) (All rights to characters go to Rebecca Sugar. The only character that is mine in this book is Tanzanite and the fusion gems involving Tanzanite.)Complete

You are one of a kind. Well, at least that's what your father said. Not in a good way tho. Ever since you were born to Earth, all of the blames was reserved for you and you only. Being a half-gem human or a half-hybrid wasn't as easy and amazing as what people thought. It only led you to pain and tortures. Your father wasn't amused when he found out that you are the one who killed his dear lovely wife by giving up your mother's gem just to have you. Your mother knew she would be gone as she was having you, and yet she didn't stop to have you born. After years go by, your father had enough of you and finally decided to get rid of you. By drowning. Yet you still alive and was living and surviving alone. Until you met a certain curly-haired boy that was called by the name of Steven Quartz Universe. This is not my first time writing so I bet that I could make the chapter as long as 1000+ words. This book also took before the movie started. This book also contained bruises, blood, injuries, torture, gore and etc. If you didn't feel comfortable reading, I am so sorry and please read the one-shot book that I will be making. She's carefree, wild, and she's pretty odd. No one knows it, but she struggles with depression. ---- Peridot Diamond is a dorky scientist from Beach City High. Her life revolves around school, and of course science. She's fine being alone, and she has never felt attached to anyone. This all changes when she meets Lapis Lazuli. At first the two hate eachother, they want nothing to do with one another. They absolutely loathe eachother. But that slowly starts to change as Peridot and Lapis begin learn more about one another. Peridot isn't really a narcissist, and Lapis isn't really as strange as she seems. Peridot soon finds herself developing feelings for Lapis, feelings she's never felt before. Confused and afraid, Peridot is trying her best to figure this out. Yet she can't help but wonder... Does Lapis feel the same?
