Feather Touch

A family of settlers moved into a cottage the father was a white man and so was the seventeen year old son but the mother was of Native origins. The mother's tribe had been killed/murdered by white men. The Native mother and the White father had a half-Native/white baby daughter. When the family is mysteriously murdered the leader of the nearby tribe goes and invesigates, only to find a baby alive and the rest dead. He brings the half child to the tribe to raise as his own given the fact that his baby daughter had just died. As she grows up one of the native boys, named Aditsan, shows interest in her. Neither know what their feelings are until her sixteenth birthday when her 'father' decides that she is old enough to have a husband and all the men in the tribe, elligable and around her age, try to gain her heart. But her heart already belonged to another.
