Life is incredibly temporary. You can never know, unchangeably, what will happen. Sure, we've all heard this countless times before, but for me, it's never seemed so real. Life is so fragile and unpredictable that just the other week I was planning to go on a trip out of state with my sister and only a few days ago I was helping my parents plan her funeral.All Rights Reserved

I hated Matt. My fucking bully was living with me. That wasn't the real issue though. Having drug addict for a mother and a father that's in and out of your life leaving you to take care of your sister. Between taking care of you little sister, figure skating along with dance and then coming home not knowing what to expect from your parents. At the age of 17 how will your life play out; will there be help along the way or will you die trying to get your sister out of the toxic household.

Shock. Once the shock wore off, I was confused. Then angry. You made me so angry because I felt betrayed by your choice. Your choice to leave me, leave me all alone in this dark world. I felt so angry and betrayed by your choice to desert me when you were all I had. Then I accepted the fact that you were no longer here because that's just how it was and how it had to be. I had to learn to accept the fact that life was now me without you and that was a damn hard pill to swallow.
