Charity just smiled at his question, "You people misunderstand him. You call him, "Satan" and "devil", but... Do you know his crime? He loved God too much. And for that, God betrayed him-punished him. Just as he's punished you. After all, how could God stand idly by while that man broke into your home and butchered your family in their beds?" Nick dropped his gaze to the bed, not able to meet her gaze. She shifted to her knees, taking his face in her hands gently. "There are only two rational answers, Nick-either he's sadistic, or he simply doesn't care. You're angry. You have every right to be angry. I am angry, too. That's why my friend and I, we want to find him-hold him accountable for his actions. Just because he created us doesn't mean he can toy with us, like playthings."

"If I help you... can you bring back my family?" He asked, raw emotion in his voice.

Charity smiled sadly at him,  rubbing her thumb along his cheek softly. "I'm sorry. We can't. But we can give you the next best thing. God did this to you, Nick. And we can give you justice. Peace."

"How do I know you're telling the truth?" He asked.

"I wouldn't lie to you. I don't need to. What I need... is you. Nick, I need you to say yes."

With Lucifer out of his cage, Karoline, Alayna, and the boys become targets of both heaven and Hell, as they all have a part to play in this upcoming war. Her voice caught in her throat at just the sound of his name. She inhaled sharply, almost forgetting how to do even that, "What?" "I raised him from perdition and he asked me to bring you to him," He raised two fingers, reaching out to touch her forehead, but she ducked under his hand quickly and spun so her back was to the door to her room and he was standing across from her on the sidewalk. "Perdition, like Hell?" She asked, but continued before he could give an answer. "You saved him? Like, he's alive and walking on the earth, right now?" It was silent for a moment and he looked at her expectantly. "Are you going to let me speak now?" "What are you?" "I'm an Angel of the Lord." He said and Karoline shook her head, letting out a humorless laugh. "Okay..." Her laughter slowly died when he just looked at her confused. "You're being serious." "Why would I joke about this?" He asked, his serious, confused face never changing. She opened her mouth to respond, but no words came out, "You're crazy." He took a small step forward, his eyes narrowed as he assessed her, "They said you had faith, I don't understand." *** Dean's back and so are we with book 4! Angels, Demons, Heaven, and Hell, book four has got it all! 4 months. 4 months since Dean died. 4 months since Sam fled with Ruby. 4 months since the girls have seen any Winchesters. When Dean mysteriously comes back to life everything the four have done over their time apart comes crashing back. Intent on finding somewhere they can settle down and start to rebuild their lives, the four of them set off to find food, shelter, and a community to call home.
