    She wanted to be free. 
    Both of them needed the other.

    When Hades sees Sage dancing around in a field of flowers as a child, he knew she was the one. The other piece of his soul. So he waited, watching from the shadows, for her to grow up. 
    Sage grew up carefree and happy, with the exception of her father. She never had a want for anything since practically everything was provided by her mother Demeter, goddess of the crop. Then one night as she was walking through the forest, she was attacked. Saved by a stranger with hair as black as ink and dazzling emerald eyes, she is forever grateful. That is, until she realizes who the mysterious stranger is, but by then it is too late. 
    Will Sage be able to accept Hades and his world, or will her longing for the above cause her to leave him and their future behind?

A faint thud-like sound catches my attention, and I start to pull away to see what made the sound. My lips retreat, and I take a faint breath before clearing my mind to think logically. As I pull away, his lips simply continue to kiss my chin and down my cheek. Another gasp slips from my lips, and this one echos through the hall. "I..I think...I...I heard something." I whisper as quietly as possible. He lightly pulls away to take a small breath before smiling. "I didn't hear anything. It's nothing." He pushes aside.... During the ancient times of Greece, lives the daughter of Demeter, Persephone. All her life has been sheltered from the mortal and immortal world. When her desire for a taste of freedom goes too far, she seals a deal with a man she will never escape... Enjoy this retelling of the Greek myth of Hades and Persephone! It isn't until her cat dies and after picking him up, becomes alive again when she realizes why her mother has locked her away for all these years. She discovers she has the gift of healing. When she confronts her mother about it, her mother reveals to her that they are not human but in fact, Goddesses trapped inside human vessels to protect Kore from the Gods who want to marry her. But things only get worse when one day, as Kore is picking flowers in the meadow, there is an earthquake and she is taken up by this earthquake and falls into the arms of none other than Hades. Hades got me out of Algebra, which is a big deal. It does my head in. But, he kidnapped me and took me to the Underworld all because Persephone has faded away. And he's making me love him. After meeting gods and goddesses, finding my parents were dead then not dead, and Aphrodite, the goddess of love casting a spell over me, it turns out he's making me love him. So, naturally, I want freedom. Is that too much to ask?
