A twist on the Greek story of Persephone and Hades.
He wanted her.
She wanted to be free.
Both of them needed the other.
When Hades sees Sage dancing around in a field of flowers as a child, he knew she was the one. The other piece of his soul. So he waited, watching from the shadows, for her to grow up.
Sage grew up carefree and happy, with the exception of her father. She never had a want for anything since practically everything was provided by her mother Demeter, goddess of the crop. Then one night as she was walking through the forest, she was attacked. Saved by a stranger with hair as black as ink and dazzling emerald eyes, she is forever grateful. That is, until she realizes who the mysterious stranger is, but by then it is too late.
Will Sage be able to accept Hades and his world, or will her longing for the above cause her to leave him and their future behind?

The Tale of Hades & Persephone
This is a rewrite of my previous fan fiction "Tales of Hades and Persephone" as well as some inspiration from the original myth (and perhaps other retellings I enjoy). Hades has been alone for far too long. One day he pays a visit to Zeus and requests to marry Persephone. The King of the Gods agrees and even recommends Hades kidnap Persephone, since it's unlikely Demeter will agree to the marriage. We all know the story of how Hades's kidnapped Persephone from her mother and his sister Demeter, brought her to the Underworld and tricked her by eating a Pomegranate that forces her to spend half the year in the Underworld with him. While Persephone may have been reluctant to be with the King of The Underworld at first, she slowly grew to love it and her husband. Hades being the most hated God received a curse from Persephone father, Zeus, that any child Hades and Persephone had together would destroy the world as we know it. Neglecting to tell his young wife this Persephone becomes pregnant. Excited to tell her husband about the news when she gets back to the underworld, her mother let's her know of the curse that Zeus has put on the child. Demeter urges her to be rid of the child, but Persephone, Goddess of Fertility denies the request and hides her pregnancy from all. Once Persephone has the child Zeus and Hades find out, so she asks Athena and Aphrodite for protection of the beautiful little girl. They counteract the little girls curse by providing the girl with a future love so strong, it will kill the darkness inside of her. Hades got me out of Algebra, which is a big deal. It does my head in. But, he kidnapped me and took me to the Underworld all because Persephone has faded away. And he's making me love him. After meeting gods and goddesses, finding my parents were dead then not dead, and Aphrodite, the goddess of love casting a spell over me, it turns out he's making me love him. When The Raven's Feathers Fall
Grim doesnt remember anything if his past. All he does is work but tgat all changes when he has to go to a school to watch his next victim. He starts feeling things he shouldn't and his past starts coming back to him. Filled with terror and rage he begins look to his work for the release he needs. Raven hasn't had a good life but it starts to change the day a new kid, Grim, shows up. Grim doesn't really talk to anyone he just stares, but soon he becomes irritable and Raven takes notice. When we were talking about our future jobs we all were waiting for Grim to speak, the answer he gave was terrifying. I decided to follow him one night and what I found should have made me hate him but I felt like I could understand him...I wanted to talk to him and be his friend.
