This (some what) short story of "Sleeping Sophia" is based off of Sophia's rare and very serious condition called "Sleeping Beauty Syndrome" Which has been fatal for the last couple of years of Sophia's life, that has damaged her health, relationships with her family, and friends. Sophia could fall into a deep sleep of hours, days, weeks..
No one knows how long. Her condition has taken a traumatic turn where It's been harder for her parents Joanne and Tim to wake her up. This story tells the point of view of her parents in real life and of her dreaming. The adventure of Sophia and Olly in her dreams will last a lifetime for her. But how long until "Sleeping Sophia's" lifetime is up?
(This story I wrote was for an ELA project this year in grade 9)
