There once was a girl,
Who had the heart of gold.
But then something interesting happened,
And she became cold.
Belle was known to be the most beautiful girl in all of the Village. She had the heart of gold and was so caring when it came to other people. All the Villagers knew and respected her and her father, Maurice.
But then one day, Belle woke up as someone new - someone the Villagers and her father didn't know. She became isolated and cold-hearted, having no concern for others but herself.
Maurice searched far and wide for someone who had the ability to bring his daughter back, but no one would dare go near her. After many years of selfish deeds and wants, she became known as the Beast.

One night, during one of the Prince's courting events - a special type of ball, where dozens of young woman would dress up and dance with the prince, in an attempt to win over his heart and become queen to the Kingdom - An uninvited guest arrived. It was a poor, shivering, elderly woman seeking shelter from the bitter winter storm. Repulsed by her haggard appearance, the prince dismissed the woman. As a gift, the old woman offered the prince a single rose, but when he dismissed her again, the woman's outer appearance melted away. Only to reveal a beautiful enchantress. The prince begged for forgiveness, but it was too late - for she could see there was no love in his heart. The enchantress cursed the prince, transforming him into a hideous beast - and if he was unable to learn to love another, and earn their love in return by the time the last petal from the rose she offered had fallen, he would remain a beast forever. But the enchantress also placed the curse upon his innocent castle staff, who were transformed into antiques; suffering for the prince's mistake(s) in small, rusting, metallic bodies. Life was hard enough for the staff, but now - it was unbearable. ~ This story will go through the staff's struggles before, DURING, and after they were cursed. It will also fill plot holes and extend the ending of Beauty And The Beast.
