When the faeries come, Keela O'Donneley is the only one who is suspicious. Suspicious, that is, until the faerie Corrix hypnotizes her. Once that occurs, Keela becomes Corrix's slave. His toxins seep into her skin. She becomes immediately obsessed with him.
And little does she know... Corrix and his people are gancanaghs. They were supposed to be a myth.
Gancanaghs are rare faeries- "love talkers" who seduce human prey and hypnotize them.
So the faeries seduce Keela's people and take over her town. But why? And to what end?
And will Keela wake from her lovesick stupor? Will she be able to save herself, and save her village? Or will Corrix and the gancanaghs destroy her?
