In society, "being yourself" is the "best way to make friends." That's a lie. Sai is a sixteen-year-old girl that just drives people away. Whenever they find out about the real her, they disappear from her life, as if they never knew her. She wears a mask of black lace and golden thread. Vyx is an eighteen-year-old girl with a similar problem, but she was born with her mask. She doesn't show emotions and she definitely doesn't love. What happens when they are recruited to join a secret task force and both their masks are stripped? Will they find solace in each others' scars or will they run from cruel reality?
