Unfortunately, Harry was black out drunk that night and doesn't remember anything from the party, and his friends are hesitant to tell him anything. It's a good thing Draco Malfoy isn't his friend...

Ron, feeling like Hogwarts held to many soured memories to ever be a home again. When Harry manages to involve himself with dark people with darker intentions the last remaining façade of normality slips away. Without his two closest friends to aid him on a journey of recovery, it seems like the next best answer will be with the reformed Malfoy.
