The girl was careful not to get hurt as she picked her moms favorite flowers gardenias. Her mom seemed to love these somewhat plain flowers. There wasn't any flower she would ever talk about more as she told her a story every night of a girl giving her prince a gardenia every time he left for war as the flower symbolized a sweet love and good luck.
