Raelyn grew up in New York with her mother. She always was expelled from school after school. In Yancy she met Percy Jackson. They became good friends. She started to see things from the Greek mythology books Mr. Brunner had tought them. After Percy left her world fell apart, Her mother was diagnosed with stage five cancer and her step father died in a car crash. 
    She was sixteen and she started working, She dropped out of high school to work to help pay offmedical bills. She worked as a part-time reporter and photographer. Her mom died on her seventeenth birthday. 
     Her mother hand given her a old Greek box. She had promised not to open until her mother passed. When she pride open the box inside was a golden necklace with a flying sneaker attached to it. Engraved on the back was her name 'Raelyn, our little baby girl.' 
   She was being attacked by monsters one day when she stumbled up a hill. She found were she belonged. Her and Percy reunited but she was still broken. Can he fix her? Is she to broken?
