"Mangled, cut off fingers of kidnapped, and murdered, victims have been turning up on this office's doorstep, and with their bodies turning up all over Mareth. Levi, the people are scared for themselves, for their families and for their friends, we can't have the news spreading that this town is unsafe. You have to do something about it, with or without help, and whether or not you like it."
Welcome to Mareth, a small seaside town, where things are going downhill. Ten murders in ten weeks, all committed with a gun, and still, nobody has a clue who the ruthless killer is.
After Jackson William's love of his life goes missing, leaving a house with blood stains on the wall as a parting gift, his entire life seems to go downhill along with everything else.
Jackson Williams was a notorious musician with a bad alcohol addiction, about no family or friends and is an emotional wreck.
At that point, he was beyond lost.
However, although Jackson might think he is useless, he is the only one who can stop the wild killer, even if he doesn't agree.
Williams soon finds himself thrown into the centre of the investigation. With no clue, no heart, and not enough sanity, by far.
So, what does he do? He takes the help given to him by an insane Private Detective called Levi Thornhill. Levi, the man of way too many issues, but the man who always gets the job done.

This story sucks, don't read it!
It's amazing how quickly your life can change. In a slow town like this, where nothing exciting ever happens, where nothing ever changes, one single moment can alter your life forever, for better, or for worse.
Sometimes, we're lucky enough to be able to recognise these particular moments, and take a leap of faith, but, more times than not, they just happen without us even realizing what's going on until it's already too late.
Tonight, a simple Saturday night, just like any other, would turn out to be one of the most defining moments of my life.
Ace is living a slow life, knowing nothing other than drinking with his friends and the motorcycle club that raised him, waiting to reconnect with his father who has just been released from prison after a fifteen year sentence.
Life is simple, though he thought. Until the night he meets Jenna, running from her haunting past and the man that she is desperately trying to escape.
Ace is dead set on protecting Jenna, but, as she slowly learns to trust him enough to open up to, he finds himself landing in the middle of a human trafficking operation and a feud that goes way back, between the ringleader and his club.
Suddenly, life doesn't seem so simple...
