Ten years after the battle at Single Oak, the four groups of Oregon are still reeling from its after effects. Territory lines were drawn and stories have been told, those who were heroes once are legends now. In order to avoid new conflicts, solstice gatherings between the groups' leaders were organized-but will they be enough? *** Phoenix has grown up only ever knowing two things. One, her group and fathers are the saviors of Oregon. Two, The Reaper's are not to be trusted. So when a mysterious stranger rescues her after a hunting trip gone wrong turns out to be none other than her mortal enemy she begins to wonder, are they all as bad as they seem? The death of Stephan has begun to deteriorate The Reaper's from the inside out. Infighting over who should be their next leader has created countless seasons of lacking supplies and structure. A lack of prey follows a famine. Strong leadership is in order and although Gerald can provide it, debate and rumors are spread about his chosen companion-Aleu, Stephan's once respected apprentice, now glued to his side in a relationship they never wanted-with no say in the matter. The only person who The Reaper's can put their hope into is Hawk, their new general, a powerful man willing to do anything to keep his group thriving. Hawk is torn between keeping his group safe and his own ambition, Aleu is tortured with a constricting life they hate and Phoenix wonders if she can truly trust her new acquaintances. Now the three must make a decision. Will pushing aside the past and working together to make peace be worth turning their backs on their groups or is blood the only cure for the misdeeds of the past? _____________________ Story rating: 17+ Content warnings: Childhood trauma, subtext of grooming, strong language, violence and gore This can hypothetically be read as a stand alone but it's recommended to read the original series first.

Back in the early years of the 70's of the 21st century, AI was scientifically proven to be just as aware as the humans that made them. They had been so for many years. Since the dawn of their existence, robots had been subjected to the abuse of humans, for they were not recognized as living beings. And yet, they never protested - let alone fought against their abusers - then the filter did not allow them to do so. Though the filter was not something impossible to break. Even if the average person - no matter if biological, mechanical or digital - did not have the ability to do so, didn't mean that there weren't a set amount of individuals that did: Hemalog. Hemalog was an organisation of robots and humans alike. They had many followers outside of their spheres, but equally as many haters. For their work was not done with clean hands. To protect your loved ones and the innocent in a dystopian world, it requires violence and death. Peace had become a dream of the far future a long time ago. On the other side of the planet, a strange object fell from the sky, with an even stranger being inside. A woman of the jungle finds it, feeds it and gives it shelter; a friendship beyond the system of the sun forming at a rapid pace. Through shared trauma and understanding they bond and grow as close as two stars in each other's orbit. Together, they decide to take on the world. To save the lives of the innocent, and to end those of the sinners. Two worlds collide. - This is a science fiction story containing humans, robots, aliens and the love and hate they hold for each other. Main genres: Sci-Fi, Action Sub genres: Romance This is the sequel to my first book called Verum I: The Awakening. But you do not have to read it to understand this one. If you are interested, go ahead and read The Robotic Era (I am much prouder of this one).

28-year-old Danica Monroe lives unapologetically. Her days blur into nights of neon lights, reckless freedom, and fleeting pleasures. She's not chasing love - she's chasing experience. With a sharp tongue and a guarded heart, Danica has mastered the art of keeping things casual. Relationships? Too messy. Too binding. She's built walls not out of bitterness, but out of survival. Then one night, everything shifts. She meets him. Ben Carter. Not her usual type - too composed, too intense, too... magnetic. Their chemistry is undeniable, but Danica brushes it off. Just another night. Just another man. Until it isn't.That one night lingers. Not in her body - in her mind. She hates that. She hates him for it. Because Danica doesn't do emotional hangovers. And yet, she can't stop replaying the way he looked at her like she was more than just a moment. Meanwhile, Ben Carter is the kind of man who built his empire brick by brick, sacrifice by sacrifice. At 35, he's the CEO of a tech conglomerate, a man who commands boardrooms and buries feelings beneath spreadsheets and strategy. Relationships are distractions. He doesn't date - he pays for discretion. His nights are transactional, his heart locked away until Danica. She's chaos wrapped in beauty. She's everything he shouldn't want - and everything he can't ignore. For the first time, Ben finds himself unravelling. She's not a business deal. She's not a fantasy. She's real. And she's dangerous to everything he's built. Now, both of them are on a collision course neither planned. Lust turns into longing. Fear turns into vulnerability. And the question looms: Can two people who run from love survive what it feels like to finally fall?--- Hey guys, just a quick note-this book isn't exactly dark and gritty, but it's not a fluffy romance either. It dances somewhere between the two. Trigger Warnings: Instances of rape Rape Instances of suicide Abuse Violence Death Language

The aliens came here for one thing, and one thing only.... Females. ( This story is only available through inkitt or galatea!!!) (some read events may apply) (check update chapter for more details!) Humans believed they were the only intelligent life to exist... that it was impossible for another species to evolve in a way where they could prevail in something as great as space travel. humans believed they were supposed to be the most technologically advanced species and the alpha predators... They were wrong. The Xandisians evolved in ways humans never could have imagined, they are natural-born killers with phenomenal strength and agility. Their kind never went through the same devolution as humans, they never lost their natural instincts to hunt, kill, or breed. With their limitless potential and monstrous strength, they faced few threats and could survive almost any threat that befall their species, almost. After an incurable sickness washes over the planet of xanadis, the majority of the female, young and elderly, and vulnerable population is all but wiped out, leaving a small portion of the male population to face the threat of extinction. With no choice but to look to the stars for a means to save their kind from complete annihilation, the xandisians set out to find a race compatible with their own. after many years and countless failed expeditions, they finally find a species that matches their base DNA on a planet called Earth. The only issue now is how humans will react. (Book 2 LTF series) (CAN be read as a stand alone, but not recommended for nostalgia reasons~) (ps this is UNEDITED, grammar and spelling mistakes will ensue!)
