Imagine your whole life just one day disappearing. Not slowly fading away, literally disappearing right before your eyes. That happened to me. It was a strange day already and nothing was going normally. I didn't think much of it, until I saw my Mother almost dissolving into thin air then my Brother and my Father. I sat on the floor crying thinking I would be next. Nothing happened. I heard something knock against my window, it was a girl. I looked around nervously but I decided to look out the window curiously. Little did I know that looking out that window would change my life for good.

It was a Sunday night, family night for the Greens. They were playing a board game when it happened. At exactly 11:11 pm; a time for wishes, a sixteen year old girl wished for true love one day. At that exact moment her window smashed and something flew into her room. It was a flock of them; they attracted the house and only took one thing: the girl. She remembers it clearly, the way she screamed scared out of her mind. The way it grabbed her waist and took off. She remembers screaming for help but no one came to her rescue. Oh how she wishes that she left her safety knife in her room. Then they would be safe. Her family! She just hopes they were fine, but the conclusion that she was taken says that her family would be back to normal soon. She sighs and thinks over her life. From a little kid she was always the loner. But her family loved her to death. It all changed when she turned ten. The world was changing. She remembers the exact day at the exact time. Her birthday; she calls it the hell day. Something bad always happens on her birthday and that year was the worst so far. On February 20/2020 at exactly 2:20 On the news they had let out the horrible announcement. Scientist's experiments had gone wrong. They call them the "Stone Devils". They were escaping from the labs and into our world. Made of stone and all male. Winged creatures that come into the night. Steal and kill their prey. That's what she heard but she didn't believe it until a few nights ago. (kinda like the movie Warm Bodies)

I woke to a sudden breeze invading the warmth from the heavy blanket that caressed my skin. Here, alone with my thoughts, the still, calm quiet in the atmosphere is almost painful. I feel suffocated in the clingy, static air. In quiet, still moments like these, I can almost feel Him. I don't know who "Him" is, but I can feel his presence. It's almost calming, especially on fearful, anxiety fueled nights. Usually, he was the strongest when I had a nightmare. The nightmares weren't as common now, but, right after everything happened, I was having them every night. I'd wake up and swear I was drenched in blood, my eyes and lips sticky, my nose filled with the smell of iron and fuel. After everything, that's when Him first came. From there, he just never left. I can usually sense when Him is near. Today, though, his presence is stronger. I can almost feel Him next to me, weighing down the mattress. Some nights, I roll over and imagine how he looks, envision his smile or the sparkle in his eyes. He's never there and I'm left clutching to the thought that he exists, staring into empty air. Tonight, though, I swear I can reach out and touch him. Extending my hand gently, I sweep my hand out into the darkness and meet an inexplicable warmth. A scream rips from my lungs as hands cover my face and two icy blue eyes stare back at me, daring me to speak again. A soft cloth caressed my nose and mouth before I felt myself fade into bed. I DO NOT OWN NARUTO, I ONLY OWN ALEDA I was floating, there was nothing, it was calming, but then I saw a light, I was drawn to the light, seeking warmth from the abyss of darkness that enclosed me. When I was about to touch the light I heard a voice, looking toward the sound I saw someone. I saw nine tall figures surrounding me with a man in front of me. "Do you wish to go home?" the man said to me. I replied to him "yes", who wouldn't? Then everything turned to a light blue," Is this the sky?" i thought out loud. I saw that I had my wings, my black hair flowing around me, my white dress flowing in the wind. It then registered in my mind that i was falling, and falling fast. I turned my body and saw the ground nearing me, I braced myself for the blow. When I landed i felt the ground shake, creating a crater. i looked to my left seeing a few people nearing my busted body, i looked back to the sky black spots clouding my vision. i heard the people nearing me screaming. When they neared me they all stopped and gasped at the sight of me. My pure white wings coating in red, my blood. My white dress flowing across my wings also sprayed with my blood, like paint splatters on a pure white canvas. Blood started to get into my light purple eyes. One of the people came near my battered body, snapping out of his distant look, picking me up and started to run me to the hospital, when we ran through the gates people gasped at the sight of my body, my wings dragging the ground. When we got to the hospital he started to order people to get the head nurse to care for my body. When i felt them stabilize my body I fell into a light slumber.

She goes outside on nights in front of her new house to admire the moon's beautiful moonlight from the balcony she has. "I wonder why someone would abandon a beautiful wooden cottage with such scenery like this?"
