I am stating that this is not my story whatsoever; I'm just transferring it onto Wattpad.
Summary:
Bucky Barnes suffered from depression before he joined the army, and when he came back, he suffered tenfold. Steve Rogers painted his nightmares and didn't talk about how he lost his leg. Natasha believed it was possible -- just maybe -- that broken people could help heal one another.

Steve(21) Hasn't had a chance to leave this awful place. He has stayed around for the kids, wanting nothing more to be there for each one's graduation. Confused. Lonely. Depression has really started to hit in the last couple of years after all of the tragic losses to the upsidedown. Nearly losing everything and everyone he's cared for and loved. Most everyone has gotten their chance to escape, Nancy and Jonathan moved to California after graduation. Robin's off at college. Until he realizes maybe he's not so alone here, sparking a true friendship with the most unlikely person, Eddie Munson. Eddie(22) hasn't been able to get out of this town either after swearing he would get the hell out of here many years ago. The kids are all graduating this year, which will most likely end up giving the two now men, no reason to stick around anymore. But what will happen to the two friends when Steve realizes the feelings he's thought for so long to just be a platonic friendship have always been a little more? When Alaska meets Bucky for the first time she is mesmerized. Not only by his looks but also by his kind and caring soul. Still battling the demons of his past, Bucky doesn't want anyone to get hurt anymore-especially not Alaska. But she has a way of wiggling herself through the cracks of the wall he has built around his heart and it is hard to stay away from her. This is a short little story I wrote this summer and its also the first story I have ever written...so please be nice to me lol.
