My name is Claudia. A year ago my best friend was killed. By a train. Because she stood in front of the train. On purpose.

A year later, I saw her. Beth. Dead Beth. I know, not possible right? Well turns out she's a ghost. Dead Beth or DB for short (she doesn't like that name). So my best friend is a ghost. I also have a secret boyfriend. He's pretty awesome. My mum is a drunk but Beth thinks she is faking it. I mean who fakes being drunk and why? I'm also trying to keep control of my school but someone knows my secret. They want to reveal my secret but that can not happen.

BD and I were once best friends, but then she died, and now she's a ghost. She doesn't think it'll work, I know it will... Talk about a complicated friendship.
