The northernmost corner of Pyrrhia, the head of the dragon... the rigid, rule-bound IceWings in their cold kingdom. They've long lost their last animus dragon, and the magic has been presumed dead in IceWing lineage for more moons than many remember.
Diamond, the firsthatched IceWing princess, always dreamily observed the IceWing animus gifts. But she never dreamed that she'd actually BE an animus dragon. Then... she discovers her magic. Princess Diamond is the first animus dragon her tribe has had in centuries. Yet without living animi as an example, she fails to heed the dangers that could come with overuse of her magic.
They say diamonds are unbreakable. Yet the destruction of her soul may just be enough to shatter this Diamond.

The forbidden fruit
The Icewing prince Iceberg was born with a magical gift that hasn't appeared in his royal family for years. He had the mysterious animus powers that were so rare in every tribe of Pyrrhia. He was taught since his very young age, that every animus dragon that ever appeared in the tribe had one big purpose in life - delivering a gift to the whole tribe, that would benefit everyone. A catch was, that this was the only spell that he could ever cast and when gifting the tribe, he had to give away his animus powers for good. As he slowly began to reach his seventh birthday, his Mother- Queen North- grew very impatient with his gifting ceremony. By the time an animus turned seven years old, he had to make his gift. But Iceberg never liked the idea of giving away this awesome magic, casting only one spell in his entire life. He wanted to explore his power and try helping everyone he could. Some things just don't go according to plan though and Iceberg has to face terrible twists that may deprive him of his own life. The named dragon straightened as if to look more presentable, but all that did was emphasize his inferiority. His copy of the general's pose at attention was laughable, and Prion felt as if the crowd was enjoying the entertainment. He felt his family's eyes on him and shrank internally at the humiliation he was bringing them. But as the general continued, Prion's posture deflated. Every word punctuated his growing horror: "Your failure to act has resulted in the destruction of the palace and the deaths of many nobles. You have been charged with treason and are exiled accordingly by Her Majesty, Queen Chalcedony. If you wish to return to your place in the Kingdom, Her Majesty will grant you pardon... only if you return with the heart of The Blue Comet in your talons." . . . Gift or Curse?
As with firescales dragonets, the ancient SkyWings were certain that animus dragons were too much of a threat to be allowed to live. Those hatched with the curse were killed upon realization of their gifts, before they could do harm to the tribe. But one animus wasn't afraid of his tribe, but for it. He knew the vulnerability that his tribe could face in the event of war. He devised a plan that would calm the fears of his tribe, while at the same time allowing for their defense should it ever become necessary. Fanfiction. I do not own this book series.Complete

Clay made a promise to Tsunami a long time ago that he would always be her best friend no matter what. But it is hard to keep a promise like that when Tsunami has been constantly sending dragons to be executed. As time goes on Tsunami becomes worse and worse, to the point to where Clay can no longer ignore it and pretend everything's fine. But how can he stop Tsunami and be her friend at the same time? Would he have to choose one or the other? Turtle was always just a nobody in the sea. Then out of of blue Turtle loses his mother and father in one day, and his new sister, Tsunami, who seems to have popped out of nowhere, becomes the queen of the SeaWings. He was almost certain that she had some kind of evil inside her, but who would stop her, where was the hero? Turtle didn't know until he met and saved someone, who told him he was the hero. But can a nobody orphan really be a hero? Expect Tsunami and other character to act differently, but they will mostly be themselves (besides Tsunami). Wrote this in middle school very cringe. Snowdrift isn't like other dragons. She is a frostscales, so her scales radiate frost nobody can touch her or be near her in case of accidents. Now she has a chance to meet new dragons at Jade Mountain Academy. She meets a friend who is a firescales, so he can touch her, his name is Falcon, he is a Skywing. Snowdrift likes him, a lot. Except the Ice Kingdom is melting and there is going to be a war between the Skywings and Icewings. Who will win? Part 2: Falcon and ShiftingSky go off to the new Ice Kingdom. Once there an unexpected event happens. The three dragons go back and get there revenge. Part 3: The Skywings and Icewings are at peace now but not for long food and wateris gonna run out, ShiftingSky knows that, so she goes off alone to restore the Ice Kingdom.Complete

Snowflake was a normal icewing dragonet. Blueish-white scales and a disciplined, icy personality, living within his parent's sixth circle. As normal as normal can get. He had no idea how much his life was about to change. His goal was to become the highest ranked adult dragon in his family, and his dream was already in reach. He just turned six years old, and through hard work and tiresome training, he had made it to the top of the fifth dragonet circle. If only he could reach the fourth circle by his seventh birthday, he would be happy with being an upper-middle class citizen of the ice kingdom. However, there are many dragons attempting to thwart his success. The lowerclass icewings are jealous of his advancements, while the higherclass are skeptical. While dealing with these challenges, Snowflake discovers a strange rock after following a streak of light deep within the tundra. Upon touching the rock, his claws fill with power unlike any other. Orca and her two brothers are hatched under three full moons, watched by their animus NightWing father and their SeaWing mother, a descendant of Prince Turtle. Orca makes sure she doesn't turn out like Darkstalker by protecting her soul and mostly using her magic to help other dragons. However, some dragons hate Orca's powers and think she will behave like Darkstalker. They imprison her brothers and try to get her to use her magic chaotically to show the world that she is a monster. Orca saved her brothers without chaotically using her magic, but other tests are thrown at her. Can she convince the dragons of Pyrrhia that she is not a monster?
