After Mrs. Sorenson's second daughter is tragically stillborn her sanity crumbles. To cope with the loss she forces her husbands bastard son (born from an affair) to act and dress as a girl.
13 years later and 16 year old 'Sang' Sorenson moves with her family to a new home in Charleston, where she attends school as a sophomore at Ashley Waters.
While there she somehow gains the attention of a certain group of boys. How long will it take them to learn her secret? Will they ever?

For a year, they become close friends. When Sang was 10, she was assigned an overseas mission as the boys were assigned a mission at a school to observe a group of five boys. While she was gone, they would send letters to each other until one letter broke their relationship. Now 17, Sang and her team moves back to South Carolina. On a mission, Sang, in a disguise, bumps into Mr. Blackbourne. What will happen when Sang meets the Blackbourne team and her two former friends? Miserably Delightful
