After Mrs. Sorenson's second daughter is tragically stillborn her sanity crumbles. To cope with the loss she forces her husbands bastard son (born from an affair) to act and dress as a girl.
13 years later and 16 year old 'Sang' Sorenson moves with her family to a new home in Charleston, where she attends school as a sophomore at Ashley Waters.
While there she somehow gains the attention of a certain group of boys. How long will it take them to learn her secret? Will they ever?
