Camila and Lauren live in a Utopian society. Which basically means that the society is "perfect" and that everyone is equal no one is "smarter" than the society's standards, no one can stronger physically or mentally than anyone else, and one can only be attracted to the opposite gender. Everyone is EQUAL. In this society the ones that are different are imprisoned or simply "handicapped". People would be "handicapped" if you're smart you would be injected with an implant that shocks you from time to time. The shock will make you lose your train of thought. The worst that could possibly happen is imprisonment but that only happens if you don't follow the rules like the one were you can only like the opposite gender. This is the world Lauren and Camila live in.
